Machine Operator

Monday - Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Ensure safe and efficient set up and operation of the production machinery.

Set up and run production machinery to meet customer specifications.

Verify customer specifications for each product using all available information.

Continually check quality, while running, to ensure standards are met or exceeded.

Perform final quality check before sending product on to the next operation/dept.

Troubleshoot and maintain machinery as required.

Responsible for learning and following machinery lockout procedures.

Record production data as required (paperwork and on our computer system).

Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required.

Other duties as assigned by the company.

1-3 years running a automated machinery is preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and skill preferred.

Knowledge of the mechanics and capabilities of cutting presses is preferred.

Requires experience in troubleshooting and quality control.

Ability to work under minimal supervision, understand and execute technical written (and verbal) instructions.

Operate a pallet jack or walk behind hand truck.

Strong computer skills required.

Strong math skills required.

Ability to accurately distinguish color variation.

Must be able to work overtime as required.

Good Verbal and written communication skills.

Frequent lifting, bending and turning (up to 50 pounds).

High School Diploma/GED is a requirement.
