Overview:
The Plant Manager is responsible for the safety and efficient operation of the production facility. Our goal is to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.

Days: Monday-Friday (Some weekends as needed)
Hours: 8a-5p
Pay Scale: $70,000 to start

Job Description:
  • People- Develop a plant culture of safety, teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement for the benefit of all customers, associates, and suppliers.                   
  • Safety First - Ensure all facilities and equipment are being operating safety and within the requirements of the company and the certification process.
  • Quality- Ensure all products are consistently manufactured, packaged, and stored to company and customer specifications.
  • Sanitation Management- Ensure all sanitation practices and best practices are strictly followed and documented.
  • Equipment- Maintain all equipment to meet company specifications. Perform and manage a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment.
  • Communication- Communicate all challenges to management in a professional and approved format to achieve our objectives.
Primary Duties:
  • Leadership- Demonstrates, promotes, and enforces quality leadership based on company core values, mission, and best practices to all subordinate managers, employees, and customers

  • Safety First - Ensure all facilities and equipment are being operating safety and within the requirements of the company and the certification process.

  • Innovation- Communicates, collaborates, and identifies opportunities for innovation.
  • Policy Enforcement- Equally enforces company policies, quality standards, and process management objectives according to the company handbook and regulatory agencies with managers and employees. Documents and communicates all enforcement notifications with management.
  • Training/ Orientation- Develops and performs training programs relating to all areas of equipment operation, and sanitation
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Industry Events- Identifies industry solutions and participates in industry events as requested.
  • Projects- Completes and communicates in projects as requested by senior management.
  • Attitude- Pro-active and positive attitude toward employees, customers, and organization changes and challenges.
  • Personal Perception - Professional appearance and behavior to meet organizational expectations as defined in the employee handbook

Qualifications:

  • Education- High school degree required
  • Experience- 3-5 years plant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
